Dr. Lucy Barr is a board certified surgeon dedicated exclusively to the field of facial plastic surgery. She is the only female plastic surgeon in Salt Lake City. Dr. Barr received her medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University where she subsequently completed her surgical internship. She then pursued her interest in the function and anatomy of the face and neck. She completed her four-year surgical residency at the University of Utah in the field of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the only surgical subspecialty dedicated exclusively to the head and neck.
Following completion of her formal surgical training, Dr. Barr sought additional education in the field of facial aesthetic surgery. She was accepted to and completed a prestigious fellowship program certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During this year, Dr. Barr had the privilege of fine-tuning her knowledge and skills in facial rejuvenation with a master in the field and past president of the world's largest specialty association in facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Barr has traveled across the world to be involved in humanitarian organizations. As an associate member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Utah Medical Association and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Dr. Barr is among a select group of board certified surgeons who have achieved the highest level of achievement in surgical training.
