Experience Salt Lake at the Downtown Farmer’s Market
This is an article from the Downtown SLC Blog
Besides a powder day, there isn’t a lot that wills me out of bed early on Saturdays, of course unless it ‘s farmer’s market season. There’s something about taking in the early morning bustle of local shoppers, mired of friendly canines and delicious samples to taste that exudes summer for me.
The Downtown Farmer’s Market isn’t just a great place for locals to pick up fresh weekly groceries. It’s a great way to experience all Salt Lake has to offer while enjoying my favorite pastimes: eating and shopping!
With summer in Salt Lake warming up I’ve made an effort to get to the market bright and early on Saturdays. My first necessary stop is always an iced coffee and lately a pastry from one of the local bakeries like Vosen’s Bread Paradise or Tulie Bakery.
Bonus, if you are only visiting for a short time, the Farmer’s Market can be a great way for you to try many of Salt Lake’s best eats in one place.
